How often should my cat be groomed?
Most cats benefit from grooming every four to eight weeks depending on their breed, coat length, and shedding patterns. Regular grooming helps prevent matting, supports healthy skin and coat, and keeps your cat clean and comfortable.
Do indoor cats need professional grooming?
Yes. Indoor cats still accumulate dirt, natural oils, and household dust over time. They may also be exposed to mites or fungal infections carried in through shoes, clothing, or human contact. Regular grooming helps maintain hygiene and allows early detection of skin or coat issues before they become more serious.
Is grooming stressful for cats?
Every cat responds differently. Some adjust quickly, while others need more time and patience. Our groomers use gentle handling techniques and allow cats to settle at their own pace. We prioritise your cat’s comfort and will pause or stop the session if needed.
Are grooming products safe for cats?
Yes. We use premium, cat-safe grooming products specifically formulated for feline skin and coat. They are gentle, non-toxic, and suitable for cats of different ages, breeds, and sensitivities.
Can you groom long-haired or mat-prone cats?
Yes. We handle all coat types, including long-haired and mat-prone cats. Our team carefully works through tangles and mats using controlled, gentle techniques while monitoring your cat’s comfort throughout.
How long does a grooming session take?
Grooming sessions typically take between one and three hours depending on your cat’s coat condition, size, and selected services. Some cats need a little extra time to adjust, especially on their first visit.
Do you handle nervous or shy cats?
Yes. We are experienced with shy and sensitive cats. Our approach focuses on patience, quiet handling, and letting your cat adjust gradually so they feel secure.
Why do my cat’s ears sometimes look dirtier a few days after cleaning?
That is normal, and actually a good sign. The cleaning solution loosens deep wax and debris, which then migrates outward over the following days. It means the treatment worked, not that the ears were left dirty.
Can I bathe my cat right after a groom?
Please wait at least 48 hours before bathing or wiping down the coat. Every groom ends with a complimentary Frontline spray, and it needs that time to absorb properly.
Do you offer cat adoption?
Cat adoption is part of what we do. Message us on WhatsApp and our team will be happy to share more.
